Encouraging Regional Young Entrepreneurs to Level Up, BPD Kalteng Supports Jona to Lead Hipmi

Support for Ade Jona Prasetyo, the candidate for General Chairman (Caketum) of the National Executive Board (BPP) of Hipmi for the 2026-2029 period, continues to flow from various Regional Management Bodies (BPD) of Hipmi. This time, similar support has come from the BPD of Hipmi in Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), which has placed its trust in Jona to lead the BPP of Hipmi over the next three years. The General Chairman of BPD Hipmi Kalteng, Bintang Agustiar Sabran, even visited the Victory Post for Ade Jona Prasetyo directly in the Hang Lekir area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, to convey his group’s support. “We know that Brother Jona has been involved with Hipmi from the branch level. Therefore, he understands what young entrepreneur friends in the regions need to level up,” said Bintang in his statement on Thursday, 7 May 2026. On that occasion, Bintang’s visit was also accompanied by the General Treasurer, Deputy General Chairman, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of BPD Hipmi Kalteng. After hearing Jona’s vision and mission, Bintang solidified his support for this candidate bearing number 2. According to him, Jona’s track record from the regions is believed to bring new hope for Hipmi cadres across Indonesia. He assessed that, among the four contesting candidates, Jona has shown the most seriousness in absorbing regional aspirations. His idea of making Hipmi cadres masters in their own country must be realised. “Brother Jona’s goals are very noble. He wants to achieve success together with friends from the regions. Not many entrepreneurs still think about things like this. That’s why we are giving our support to Jona,” he stated. Receiving this support and victory commitment, Jona expressed his thanks to BPD Hipmi Kalteng. He emphasised that he will not stop gathering aspirations from the regions, to then formulate them into priority programmes. Jona said that regional potential is very large to be maximised by Hipmi cadres. Therefore, Hipmi must become a bridge between regional and national potentials, including access to markets and capital. Thus, Hipmi cadres will not only become local business actors, but also grow as adaptive, standard-compliant young entrepreneurs ready to enter the global value chain.
