Emtek Group's Hospital Issuers Secure IDR 4 Trillion Credit from CIMB Niaga and OCBC
Two hospital issuers owned by the Emtek Group have secured a jumbo credit facility worth IDR 4 trillion from PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk. (BNGA) and PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk. (NISP). Based on information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk. (SAME) along with several subsidiaries obtained the credit facility with an aggregate principal value reaching IDR 4 trillion. One of the entities also receiving the facility is PT Kedoya Adyaraya Tbk. (RSGK). SAME Corporate Secretary Rahmiyati Yahya explained that the credit facility was obtained through the signing of Credit Agreement Deed Number 12 dated 6 July 2026 between SAME and its subsidiaries with CIMB Niaga and OCBC. Besides RSGK, the facility also involves six other entities, namely PT Sarana Meditama International, PT Sarana Meditama Anugerah, PT Kurnia Sejahtera Utama, PT Unggul Pratama Medika, and PT Sinar Medika Sejahtera. All these entities act as debtors in the credit agreement. Rahmiyati stated that the funds from the credit facility will be used for refinancing, investment, capital expenditure, and working capital. SAME also confirmed that the transaction is classified as a material transaction exempt from the obligation to obtain an independent appraisal or shareholder approval, as stipulated in Article 11 letters (b) and (c) of POJK Number 17/2020.
