Empty words and next president
Empty words and next president
From Media Indonesia
The public is fed up with all the empty promises made by
political parties, while in reality various social and economic
problems remain.
Prices of basic necessities remain high, unemployment is rife
and criminals remain at large. Meanwhile, people are tired of
waiting for the emergence of a national leader with a high sense
of responsibility and deep concern for people's welfare.
Therefore, the next president should be someone who is
committed to the elimination of corruption, capable of creating
job opportunities, strives for lower prices of basic needs and
seeks to reduce the cost of education, which is so vital for
future generations.
The fact that some legislative candidates were disqualified
for submitting forged diplomas indicates outright deception. If
this country is supposed to achieve prosperity, ordinary people
must never be deceived and a government leader must be wise and
disciplined in performing his or her duties.
