An employer identified by the initials OAP (37) who assaulted a domestic worker identified as FH (21) in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java, has been placed in detention. The suspect had previously been under medical observation after experiencing health problems overnight.
“She entered the detention cell at around 01:00 Western Indonesian Time last night,” said Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit at Bogor Police, Chief Inspector Silfi Adi Putri, on Tuesday (24/2/2026).
The police continue to monitor the suspect’s health. Should further complaints arise, the medical team will be called in.
“Yes, we will continue to do so. If the individual has any complaints, we will call the medical team again,” she said.
The suspect had previously experienced high blood pressure. Following examination, OAP was placed under observation at the clinic within Bogor Police headquarters.
Victim’s Condition After the Assault
Police previously disclosed the current condition of FH following the assault by her employer OAP. The victim is currently suffering from blood clotting in her ear and requires medical treatment.
“The victim is currently staying at a relative’s house. According to information from her legal counsel, the victim still needs to have her ear examined by a doctor, as there is reportedly still clotted blood inside her ear,” said Chief Inspector Silfi Adi Putri on Monday (23/2).
Police have now examined and detained the suspect. Officers will prepare the case file and submit it to prosecutors.
“For the next stage of the investigation, since we have already carried out the detention, we will automatically proceed with preparing the case file and coordinating with the public prosecutor,” she added.
