Police are continuing their investigation into the case of an employer identified by the initials OAP (37), who physically abused a domestic worker identified as FH (21) in Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java. Police have confirmed that OAP is a civil servant (ASN).

“Based on her statements, that is correct (a BPK civil servant),” said Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit at Bogor Police, Inspector Silfi Adi Putri, on Tuesday (24/2/2026).

Police are still gathering evidence related to the case. The case file is expected to be transferred to public prosecutors shortly.

“For the next stage of the investigation, since we have already carried out the detention, we will automatically proceed with preparing the case file and coordinating with the public prosecutors,” she said.

Silfi stated that as a result of the abuse, the victim sustained a number of injuries to her body. According to the medical examination results, injuries were found on the victim’s head, ears, back and hands.

“The medical examination results do confirm injuries to the head, ears, back and hands, consistent with the victim’s testimony,” she explained.

Previously, the employer OAP (37), who abused the domestic worker FH (21) in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java, had been placed in detention. The suspect had initially been placed under observation due to a health issue overnight.

“She was placed in a detention cell last night at around 01:00 Western Indonesian Time,” said Inspector Silfi Adi Putri.

Police are continuing to monitor the suspect’s health. Should any further complaints arise, a medical team will be called in.

“Yes, we will continue monitoring. If the individual has any complaints, we will call the police medical team again,” she said.

The suspect had previously experienced high blood pressure. Following her examination, OAP was briefly observed at the clinic within the Bogor Police headquarters.
