Emphasising Digital Security and Sovereignty to Drive Collective Innovation
PT Finnet Indonesia (Finpay) has emphasised the importance of strengthening national digital innovation and transformation amidst challenges to data sovereignty and security. The remarks were made by the Director of Technology Product & Operation, who also serves as Acting Director of Finance & Risk Management, Apep MK Noormansyah, whilst receiving the Digital Innovation Awards and CIO & CTO Awards 2026. He stressed that digital innovation must be built collectively and sustainably.
“This award is not only for an individual, but represents the collective work of the entire Finnet team that remains committed to delivering digital solutions that are secure, adaptive, and relevant to industry and societal needs,” said Apep on Friday (27 February).
According to him, technological transformation cannot focus solely on system development; it must also ensure security, reliability, and service relevance to evolving industry and societal requirements.
In line with this, the President Director of PT Finnet Indonesia (Finpay), Rakhmat Tunggal Afifuddin, previously affirmed the company’s strategic direction during its twentieth anniversary. He stated that innovation must deliver long-term impact and be oriented towards sustainability.
Rakhmat emphasised that Finnet continues to move forward in delivering sustainable impact, not only through digital payment service innovation, but also by placing sustainability principles as an important part of the company’s future strategic direction.
“Going forward, we hope that Finnet can continue to play an active role in building a secure, inclusive, and competitive national digital ecosystem, whilst simultaneously supporting the realisation of Indonesia’s digital sovereignty on a sustainable basis,” he said.
