He added that the management of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, continues to monitor the airspace situation in the Middle East region whilst coordinating with various agencies, particularly with airlines to continuously update flight schedules. This includes managing prospective passengers already at the airport, coordinating with AirNav Indonesia to monitor affected airspace, and working with security authorities to anticipate security situations at the airport.

“Based on data from airlines, the number of prospective passengers from flights affected by schedule adjustments totals 3,197 passengers. This figure represents departing passengers. All passengers have been handled in accordance with each airline’s respective policies,” he said.

Furthermore, he continued, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has anticipated parking stand arrangements for aircraft from affected flights, allocated for 5 aircraft from the 3 affected airlines.

“We urge prospective air passengers to continue communicating with their airline for updated flight schedule information,” he said.

“We also provide a help desk service located on the 2nd floor of the International Departure Terminal, as well as a contact centre accessible by telephone on number 172 for updated information,” Gede Eka stated.
