Embracing All Elements of the Nation, FKN-08 Consolidation Supports Prabowo's Strategic Programmes
The National Communication Forum-08 (FKN-08) successfully held a People’s Consolidation event for volunteer organisations supporting President Prabowo Subianto. Carrying the theme ‘People’s Consolidation Supporting the Pro-People and Economic Self-Reliance Programmes of President Prabowo Subianto’, the activity took place on Saturday (11/7/2026) at the Alia Cikini Hotel, Central Jakarta. It served as a forum for fostering relationships, deliberation, and unifying perceptions, as well as strengthening synergy between volunteer organisations, community leaders, academics, communities, and various elements of the nation in supporting the national development agenda.
More than 125 community leaders, public figures, academics, and FKN-08 initiators attended and actively participated in the forum, which was conducted openly, democratically, and with a strong spirit of nationalism. In his remarks, the initiator and chairman of the committee, Indria Febriansyah, stated that FKN-08 was formed as a unifying platform for all elements of society who share the spirit of supporting the administration of President Prabowo Subianto.
‘FKN-08 is here to embrace, not to strike. This forum is a big house that unites various organisations, communities, and elements of society without barriers,’ said Indria. He added that there is no more sectoral ego, only a spirit of mutual cooperation to ensure that all pro-people and pro-economic self-reliance programmes can run well and provide real benefits to the Indonesian people. ‘FKN-08 is a big national house for all the people and volunteers supporting Prabowo-Gibran,’ he explained.
According to Indria, support for the government does not stop at political statements alone but is realised through concrete work, public education, policy oversight, and constructive collaboration between the community and the government. Representing the initiators, Yoserizal Nasution outlined the organisation’s policy direction and introduced 14 strategic work programme areas that will be the focus of FKN-08’s movement.
‘One of the main priorities is the formation of a Food Security coordinator, as a form of support for President Prabowo’s strategic programme in realising national food sovereignty,’ said Yose. He added that the forum also established various other strategic areas, including strengthening the people’s economy, village cooperatives, downstream national industry, empowering MSMEs, education, health, the environment, human resource development, and strengthening public communication to counter disinformation and hoaxes. ‘All these programmes will be implemented as a form of public participation to strengthen the success of the national development agenda,’ Yose explained.
The main session featured Nehemia Lawalata, a former political secretary to the late Professor Soemitro Djojohadikusumo.
