Elon Musk's Wealth Set to Become Unlimited as He Has No Rival
Elon Musk has long been known as the richest person in the world. Now, his wealth has the potential to increase even further, breaking through the US$1 trillion mark. His fortune has grown from US$826 billion, leaving his competitors further behind. Google founder Larry Page cannot come close to that figure despite being in second place, with wealth of ‘only’ US$292 billion. Musk’s new wealth total stems from plans for an initial public offering for one of his companies, SpaceX. The company plans to set an initial share price of US$135 per share. If these plans proceed smoothly, SpaceX’s valuation would skyrocket to US$1.77 trillion. The value of the SpaceX shares Musk holds amounts to US$866.5 billion. In addition, he also holds US$350 billion in Tesla shares and US$100 billion in additional stock options. Once SpaceX officially lists its shares, Musk’s net worth will surge beyond US$1 trillion. Furthermore, Musk will become the person who owns two of the most valuable companies in the United States, namely SpaceX and Tesla. Both companies will join the group of trillion-dollar valued firms alongside Tesla and Meta. Meanwhile, a number of investors anticipate the possibility that Musk will merge SpaceX and Tesla. Such a plan would be carried out to consolidate artificial intelligence resources and simplify future fundraising.
