Elon Musk states xAI will no longer operate as a separate company

San Francisco (ANTARA) - United States entrepreneur Elon Musk stated on Wednesday (6/5) that the artificial intelligence (AI) company xAI will no longer operate as a separate entity. “xAI will be dissolved as a separate company, so it will henceforth only become SpaceXAI, an AI product of SpaceX,” Musk said on the social media platform X in response to a post regarding the restructuring of xAI’s business. A statement published on Wednesday on the xAI website under the name “SpaceXAI” indicated that the company has signed an agreement with the US-based AI firm Anthropic to access Colossus 1, described as one of the world’s largest and fastest-activating AI supercomputers. Founded by Musk in 2023, xAI has developed several products, including the AI chatbot Grok. The company stated on its website in February that SpaceX had acquired xAI.
