Elnusa Petrofin, a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) and part of the Pertamina Group ecosystem, has reaffirmed its operational readiness in supporting the implementation of PT Pertamina’s Ramadan-Eid Task Force (Satgas) for 2026/1447 H, which runs from 9 March through 1 April 2026.

As a key pillar of national energy logistics, Elnusa Petrofin is optimising its operational capabilities through fleet reinforcement, enhancement of human resource competencies, and preparation of integrated supporting infrastructure that meets HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) safety standards.

During this task force period, Elnusa Petrofin is operating 1,885 fuel tankers (MT) with total transport capacity reaching 31,576 kilolitres (KL). This fleet strengthening is supported by the addition of 114 new tanker units, as part of the company’s strategy to improve reliability and distribution flexibility amid surging energy demand.

On the human resources front, the company is deploying 7,567 tanker crew members (AMT) distributed across all operational regions. To ensure service quality and distribution safety, Elnusa Petrofin has also conducted competency enhancement programmes for 1,083 crew members, upgrading them from AMT Level 2 to AMT Level 1 status.

This step reflects the company’s commitment to building adaptive and professional human resource capabilities in addressing operational dynamics, particularly during peak energy consumption periods.

As a mitigation measure against potential demand surges, Elnusa Petrofin has also arranged 225 additional vehicles through spot charter schemes strategically distributed across various regions. These vehicles serve as buffer capacity to ensure smooth distribution, especially in areas with high consumption rates and challenging accessibility.

Doni Indrawan, President Director of PT Elnusa Petrofin, has reaffirmed that the company’s readiness during the Ramadan-Eid Task Force represents part of a long-term commitment to maintaining national energy security.

“The Ramadan-Eid Task Force represents a strategic national service mission requiring comprehensive operational readiness. Elnusa Petrofin ensures that all aspects—from personnel and fleet to distribution control systems—are in optimal condition,” Doni stated on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

On the operational safety front, the company is operating Road Traffic Control (RTC) units to accompany crew members on duty, and has stationed 124 rest areas and checkpoints throughout Indonesia to ensure crew fitness during operations. Every crew member is required to rest after a maximum of four hours of driving, as part of HSSE-based fatigue management implementation.

Additionally, Elnusa Petrofin has prepared 25 pocket fuel depot points with 16 KL capacity each, positioned in congestion-prone locations to ensure continuity of fuel supply at critical points during the exodus and return migration periods.
