Jakarta — PT Elnusa Petrofin is strengthening operational readiness to ensure smooth fuel distribution during the 2026 Ramadan–Eid holiday period under Pertamina’s task force operations. This effort is undertaken to anticipate surging energy consumption whilst ensuring stable and timely supply.

The company has prepared 1,885 fuel tanker units with total transport capacity reaching 31,576 kilolitres. The fleet is strengthened by an additional 114 new fuel tanker units to increase distribution flexibility across various regions.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Elnusa Petrofin Doni Indrawan stated that operational readiness is key to supporting smooth energy distribution during the holiday exodus period.

“The Ramadan–Eid holiday task force represents a strategic national service mission demanding comprehensive operational readiness. Elnusa Petrofin ensures that all aspects, from human resources and fleet to distribution control systems, are in optimal condition,” said Doni in a statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).

Regarding human resources, the company has prepared 7,567 fuel tanker crews deployed across all operational regions. Elnusa Petrofin is also upgrading the competency of 1,083 tanker crews from AMT 2 level to AMT 1 level to maintain service quality and distribution safety.

Additionally, the company has prepared 225 additional fleet units through spot charter arrangements as reserves to anticipate demand surges. This fleet is stationed in numerous regions with high consumption levels and accessibility challenges.

In terms of safety, Elnusa Petrofin operates road traffic control and has prepared 124 rest area and checkpoint locations to monitor fuel tanker crew conditions. Drivers are required to rest after a maximum of four hours of driving as part of HSSE-based fatigue management implementation.

The company has also prepared 25 pocket petrol station units with capacity of 16 kilolitres in congestion-prone locations to maintain fuel supply continuity during the holiday exodus and return periods.

“We are committed to ensuring that energy remains available safely, on time, and sustainably, so that communities can perform their religious observances and celebrate Eid peacefully,” said Doni.

Additionally, Elnusa Petrofin distributes fuel to strategic sectors, including 520 police fuel stations and 638 premium and diesel fuel retail agents spread across remote and underdeveloped regions.
