Elnusa Petrofin distributes hundreds of staple food parcels in North Jakarta

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Elnusa Petrofin distributed hundreds of staple food parcels to residents of North Jakarta during the Ramadan month and ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebrations.

“We are carrying out this activity simultaneously across Indonesia, but symbolically it is being done at Plumpang Semper, North Jakarta. Because it is also an operational area here,” said Putiarsa Bagus Wibowo, Manager of Corporate Communications & Relations at PT Elnusa Petrofin, in Jakarta, on Wednesday.

He said the activity aims to share happiness with the community and the people around the company’s ring-one area.

In addition, he continued, the activity is to strengthen relations with the residents of North Jakarta and local policymakers in the area.

Bagus hopes to continue receiving support from the North Jakarta community to sustain PT Elnusa Petrofin’s business.

The contents of the staple food parcels include rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, soy sauce, sardines, as well as cakes and snacks for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. “The staple food parcels we are distributing total 250 parcels and are distributed directly today,” he said.

This staple food aid is also to facilitate local residents in meeting their basic needs during Ramadan or ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebrations.

“Hope this assistance is useful and directly helps the community,” Bagus added.
