INFO TEMPO - As Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah approaches, PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), through its subsidiary PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), is again taking part in the Ramadan–Idul Fitri Task Force (Satgas RAFI) 2026 initiated by PT Pertamina (Persero). As a partner in energy distribution within the Pertamina Group ecosystem, EPN supports Pertamina Patra Niaga to ensure that the distribution of BBM and Avtur is safe, timely, and reliable, including in areas with challenging geography such as Aceh.

For EPN, participation in Satgas RAFI is not merely about fleet and systems readiness, but a form of wholehearted service. Behind the integrated operations lies the dedication of the Tank Truck Crews (AMT) who continue to work while most people spend time with their families during celebrations.

One such person is Yuswadi, an AMT for EPN assigned to the Fuel Terminal Lhokseumawe. At the end of last year, he was briefly trapped by a landslide in the Tanah Gayo region of Aceh while distributing BBM. With road access cut off and communications down, Yuswadi and his colleagues endured for three days before eventually walking tens of kilometres to a safe point.

That experience did not deter him. For Yuswadi, ensuring energy remains present in the community, especially during disasters and moments as important as Ramadan, is a calling. Energy becomes the mover of hope—driving logistics, supporting emergency services, and aiding community activities as they gradually recover from hardship.

Now, ahead of the RAFI 2026 implementation, Yuswadi again travels the route from the Lhokseumawe Fuel Terminal to Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah—areas previously affected by landslides. He witnesses the ongoing recovery first-hand. The energy distributed becomes part of the community’s spirit to move forward.

Ferdiansyah, EPN’s Director of Operations & Marketing, emphasises that the RAFI 2026 operation prioritises the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) principle. “Energy distribution during Ramadan–Idul Fitri is a national service mission. We ensure all tanker fleets and their crews, as well as monitoring systems such as Road Traffic Control (RTC), operate optimally and safely,” he said.

In preparation for the Task Force, EPN deployed thousands of AMT and tanker fleets integrated with digital monitoring systems based on GPS and CCTV. Monitoring is conducted in real-time via RTC to anticipate high mudik (homecoming) traffic, extreme weather, or potential distribution disruptions. Special rest areas and working hour arrangements are also implemented to maintain drivers’ fitness and safety.

According to Ferdiansyah, behind every litre of BBM distributed lies the spirit of dedication of energy warriors in the field. The company ensures they are supported by systems, protection, and optimal coordination to perform their tasks safely and comfortably.

Through the dedication of AMT like Yuswadi and his colleagues, EPN continues to deliver energy to move forward with hope—energy that not only powers vehicles but also sustains life and community togetherness in Indonesia. With a wholehearted service ethos, EPN commits to ensuring the public can observe Ramadan and celebrate Idul Fitri peacefully, supported by safe and reliable energy supplies.
