ORLANDO, Florida: Canadian Stephen Ames and American Charles
Howell shared the clubhouse lead at five-under 139 on Friday when
second-round play was suspend for the day at the Bay Hill
Invitational.
Only a handful of players completed the second round thanks to
a long weather delay on Thursday that saw the first round spill
over into Friday.
Among them, Howell and Ames both shot 68, as did Fiji's Vijay
Singh who was in the clubhouse at four-under 140.
First-round leader Joe Ogilvie was five-under through three
holes, while Tiger Woods, who posted a first-round 71, didn't
start his second round.
Play was to resume early Saturday and officials hoped to
complete the second round by early afternoon, with the third
round starting shortly thereafter. -- AFP
