PEKANBARU, Riau: Eleven elephants and three tigers ran amok in

Antara quoted locals as saying that elephants and tigers had
been spotted wandering around the village in search of food.

The incident was confirmed by Mual Daulay, an official of the
provincial natural resources conservation office.

"We have already deployed teams to Langgam and Kerintang
subdistrict in Indragiri Hulu district to capture the wild
animals," Daulay said.
