Electricity Tariffs for April-June 2026 Unchanged for Non-Subsidy Customers

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has clarified that the government has set electricity tariffs for the second quarter of 2026. For April to June 2026, the tariffs will not increase. “The government has set electricity tariffs for the second quarter of 2026 to remain unchanged, both for subsidised and non-subsidised customers,” explained the official Instagram account @kesdm on Wednesday (25/3/2026). The unchanged tariffs follow the government’s consideration of macroeconomic conditions such as exchange rates and global oil prices. In fact, electricity tariffs have not increased for three consecutive years since 2022. Furthermore, equitable electricity supply to remote areas continues to be implemented. “The government is also committed to maintaining the reliability of supply and expanding electricity access to all corners of the country,” stated the Ministry of ESDM.
