Electricity Production Rises 56 Per Cent, Arkora Hydro Profit Breaks Through Rp 63.9 Billion
PT Arkora Hydro Tbk recorded positive financial performance throughout 2025. The company posted net profit of Rp 63.9 billion, representing a 52.9 per cent year-on-year increase.
Operating revenue reached Rp 343.3 billion, an increase of 43.7 per cent compared to the previous year.
Cost of goods sold also increased in line with rising operational activity, reaching Rp 253.6 billion, or a 40.6 per cent year-on-year increase. This rise was influenced by the finalisation process of the Kukusan 2 project construction.
Electricity production reached 151.8 megawatt hours throughout 2025, growing 56.1 per cent compared to the previous year.
The increase in production was supported by the operations of the Yaentu project as well as higher rainfall compared to 2024.
The operational growth also drove an increase in the company’s net profit to Rp 63.9 billion in 2025. Net profit margin also improved to 18.6 per cent, or an increase of 111 basis points compared to the previous year.
The company also accelerated the construction of two hydroelectric power generation projects using run-of-river schemes throughout 2025.
Construction of the Tomoni Project, with a capacity of 10 megawatts in East Luwu, South Sulawesi, also made progress. Construction progress increased from 15.5 per cent in 2024 to 58.8 per cent in 2025. Completion is scheduled for the end of this year.
