JAKARTA – Prices for numerous electric vehicles in Indonesia have been adjusted in March 2026. Several models have recorded price increases compared to previously, particularly from Chery and Polytron brands.

These price adjustments form part of the dynamics of Indonesia’s growing national electric vehicle market. Price increases can be influenced by various factors, ranging from production costs, product strategy, to adjustments in vehicle features and specifications.

For the Chery E5 Pure, the price has now become IDR 379.9 million from previously IDR 369.9 million. Meanwhile, the Chery E5 variant is priced at IDR 419.9 million from previously IDR 399.9 million.

A larger increase occurred in the Chery J6 line. The J6 RWD variant is now sold at IDR 560.5 million from previously IDR 505.5 million, whilst the J6 AWD has increased to IDR 625.5 million from previously IDR 565.5 million.

Additionally, the J6T variant has also experienced a price increase. The Chery J6T RWD is now priced at IDR 580.5 million from previously IDR 525.5 million, whilst the J6T AWD has increased to IDR 645.6 million from previously IDR 585.5 million.

Price adjustments have also occurred for electric vehicles manufactured by Polytron. The G3 model with a battery leasing scheme is now sold at IDR 329.5 million from previously IDR 299 million, whilst the version with battery included in the purchase has increased to IDR 461.5 million from previously IDR 419 million.

Other variants have also experienced price increases. The Polytron G3+ with a battery leasing scheme is now priced at IDR 373.5 million from previously IDR 339 million, whilst the version with battery has become IDR 505.5 million from previously IDR 459 million.
