People planning to travel home for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H (2026) using electric vehicles across Java and Sumatra need no longer worry, as the government has prepared Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) at several rest areas along toll roads.

The public should know the locations of SPKLU at several toll road rest areas on Trans-Java and Trans-Sumatra routes to plan their journeys properly. The Road Authority (BPJT) under the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has mapped SPKLU locations at rest areas along the Trans-Java and Trans-Sumatra toll networks.

Approximately 63 SPKLU locations are distributed across Trans-Java, ranging from Merak to Probolinggo. Besides Trans-Java, there are 18 SPKLU locations on non-Trans-Java toll roads.

Meanwhile, in Trans-Sumatra, 34 SPKLU locations have been prepared for travellers heading through the toll roads, distributed from Bakauheni, Lampung to Binjai.

By knowing these locations, travellers can more easily charge their electric vehicles and enjoy a more comfortable, efficient, and environmentally friendly journey home. While charging their vehicles, travellers can rest and have coffee at rest areas.
