CEO of Indomobil Emotor, Pius Wirawan, stated that current buyers of electric motorcycles are not just experimenting but are far more mature compared to a few years ago. He explained that consumers now tend to be more rational in making decisions. They no longer buy just because of trends, but consider aspects of long-term cost efficiency. “They study and can calculate that in just three years, the investment pays off. Because in three years, the savings can reach over Rp20 million,” said Pius. These first-time buyers share their usage experiences of electric motorcycles through various platforms, helping to increase public understanding. “Many buyers use electric motorcycles as an entry level or bridge to becoming reviewers,” said Pius. “They share their experiences. They gain a large audience of people who actually want to know about electric motorcycle products,” he added.
