Electric Motorcycle Price List August 2026: Starting from Rp12 Million
Indonesia’s electric two-wheeler market showed interesting dynamics in mid-August 2026. Based on market research data as of 17 August 2026, consumer choices are now increasingly diverse with a more competitive price range, from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of rupiah.
As of 17 August 2026 at 18:25 WIB, the government’s planned incentive of Rp5 million per electric motorcycle unit has not yet come into effect. Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang stated that implementation is still awaiting the issuance of a Finance Ministry Regulation (PMK). Therefore, the prices listed below are actual prices without the new subsidy reduction.
There are several interesting findings in this month’s price map. First, the entry-level price of electric motorcycles appears to be getting lower, but consumers need to pay close attention to the battery ownership scheme. Models such as the Polytron Fox-200 (Rp12.1 million) and ALVA N3 (Rp16.5 million) use a battery rental scheme to reduce the unit selling price.
Second, a price war phenomenon is beginning to emerge. Polytron has cut prices on the Fox series by up to Rp1.5 million, while ALVA is offering an August promotion with discounts of up to Rp7 million for the ONE XP model.
On the other hand, the Rp15 million to Rp20 million price segment has become the most crowded area contested by many brands such as Yadea, United, and Volta.
For consumers seeking high performance or exclusivity, Indonesia’s electric motorcycle market also offers premium options. MAKA Cavalry is now marketed at Rp39.5 million (up Rp3.15 million from the previous price). Meanwhile, Omoway offers the Balance Pilot series at Rp76.9 million.
In the sport and lifestyle motorcycle class, Kawasaki remains with the Ninja e-1 priced at Rp150.6 million, and the Vespa Elettrica remains one of the most expensive options at Rp198 million OTR Jakarta.
August 2026 is a transition moment for the domestic electric motorcycle industry. While awaiting certainty on the PMK regarding the Rp5 million subsidy, manufacturers appear aggressive in providing independent discounts to maintain public purchasing interest. Consumers are advised to verify final prices with the nearest dealer, given the differences in battery schemes and limited promotion periods.
