Electric Motorcycle Omo X Enters Mass Production: Technology Revolution
Singapore, Kompas.com – Mobility technology company Omoway has officially begun mass production of the Omo X electric motorcycle, which is claimed to be the world’s first self-balancing motorcycle.
This futuristically designed motorcycle combines aerospace-grade gyroscope technology with artificial intelligence models based on reinforcement learning. The technology enables the Omo X to automatically maintain balance without requiring any assistance from the rider. This system allows the motorcycle to remain upright automatically even when stationary.
In addition to balance maintenance, the Omo X is equipped with an active safety system called All-Scenario Protection. In terms of design, the motorcycle has also won the iF Design Award.
Omoway describes the Omo X as an evolution of motorcycles from being merely a transportation tool to becoming a “MotoRobot”. “Intelligence truly serves humanity only when it is realised physically. We have not only given the machine a ‘brain’ to think, but also given it a cerebellum to control its movements with precision,” said Todd, founder of Omoway, in Singapore on Thursday (12 March 2026).
As planned, initial pre-orders for the Omo X will be opened in late April 2026 exclusively for the Indonesian market. The motorcycle is scheduled to make its market debut in Jakarta in late May 2026 coinciding with the announcement of its official pricing and specifications.
