Electric car crashes into TransJakarta busway separator on Gatot Subroto Street; traffic to Kuningan disrupted

An electric vehicle crashed into a TransJakarta busway separator—a barrier separating the TransJakarta lane from other public transport lanes—on Jalan Gatot Subroto. Traffic heading towards Kuningan has been disrupted as a result.

According to the official X account of the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Management Centre (TMC) on Friday 27 February 2026, the vehicle collided with the busway separator at 06:37 WIB. The incident occurred precisely on Jalan Gatot Subroto adjacent to Semanggi Toll Gate 1.

“06:37 An electric vehicle has experienced an accident after colliding with a TransJakarta lane separator on Jalan Gatot Subroto arterial road (landmark: beside Semanggi Toll Gate 1),” stated the Metro Jaya Police TMC.

Currently, the accident is being handled by emergency personnel. Traffic heading towards Kuningan is experiencing significant congestion.

“The incident is currently being managed; traffic heading towards Kuningan is experiencing disruption,” the authority reported.
