Elderly set criteria for president

BANDUNG: Residents at Bumi Pertiwi Old Folks' Home in Bandung
decided on Thursday their criteria for the ideal president in the
upcoming presidential election.

The president has to be honest, responsible, trusted, free
from corruption and close to the common people, including to the
elderly people, said Rochimah, 77, who has lived in the old
folks' home for years.

She recalled that so far, the only president to visit the home
was Soekarno, the first Indonesian president and also the father
of President Megawati Soekarnoputri. -- Antara
