Elderly Person Found Dead with Multiple Injuries at Bandung Luxury Home

An elderly person identified by initials JNG (79) was found dead with multiple injuries across their body at Jalan L.L.R.E Martadinata, Bandung, on Monday, 18 May 2026. The victim is suspected to have been subjected to assault. Bandung City Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit head AKBP Anton confirmed that an assault had occurred against the elderly victim and that officers immediately launched an investigation and pursued the suspect. ‘Indeed, there has been an assault that caused the victim to die,’ he said on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. He said the suspect has been secured and is undergoing questioning. The suspect is related to the victim. ‘The suspect is still in the process of investigation,’ he added. At the time of the incident, the victim and the suspect were inside the house. A witness outside the house saw the suspect assaulting the victim. The witness attempted to help, but the door was locked. The witness then contacted the police. ‘From the hospital, they contacted the police,’ he said.
