Ekuitas University Indonesia (Ekuitas University) continues to strengthen its collaboration with bank bjb through talent scouting and campus hiring programmes. This scheme has been established as a form of commitment to absorb the university’s best graduates, allowing them to begin their careers directly within the banking institution.
According to the Rector of Ekuitas University, Prof. R. Arief Helmi, the university’s ownership by a banking institution provides a strategic advantage in producing ready-to-use human resources that align with industry requirements.
“Alhamdulillah, we have reaffirmed our commitment with bank bjb to provide opportunities for selected graduates to be hired at bank bjb through regular campus hiring. We hope that the quota can continue to increase,” said Prof. Arief following the Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB) activity for the 2026/2027 academic year at The Poster Hotel Mice Ballroom on Tuesday (8/9/2026).
Through the strengthening of industrial collaboration with bank bjb and targeted technological adaptation, he stated that Ekuitas University is optimistic about producing graduates who are not only academically intelligent but also resilient and relevant in facing the dynamics of the global labour market.
According to Prof. Arief, the certainty of job placement has also driven increased interest among prospective students for the 2026 academic year admissions. Currently, 527 new students have registered for regular undergraduate (S1) and diploma (D3) programmes. This number is projected to increase by approximately 80 to 100 students as registration for the Master of Management (MM) and Employee Class programmes remains open.
Furthermore, he noted that the increased public enthusiasm is also driven by the university’s curriculum transformation, which emphasises the integration of academic mastery (school) and practical expertise (skill). “The working world today does not only ask where a graduate is from or what degree they hold, but rather ‘what can you do’. Therefore, Ekitas does not only provide diplomas and sound logical thinking, but also equips D3, S1, and S2 graduates with relevant work skills,” he said.
