Eka Tjipta's Son Steps Down as President Commissioner of Sinar Mas Multifinance
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Sinar Mas Multifinance has carried out a reshuffle of the company’s management. The changes were approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) held on 19 August 2026.
Based on the information disclosure, the changes cover the composition of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors of the Sinar Mas Group financing company.
The meeting decided to replace Indra Widjaja as President Commissioner with Putu Gde Wibawa. For information, Indra is the son of the founder of the Sinar Mas Group, the late Eka Tjipta Widjaja.
The RUPS also replaced Loa Johnny Mailoa as Commissioner with Tri Melawati. Eko Nugroho Tjahjadi was decided to no longer serve as Independent Commissioner without a replacement. Meanwhile, Mulabasa Hutabarat remains as Independent Commissioner, becoming the only one.
In the board of directors, Rosalina Dhanudimuljo was dismissed from the position of President Director, replaced by Lynn Ramli.
The previous positions were filled by Henry Ricardo Liasnawi, Ricky Faerus, Irawan Susatya L, and Robby Tricahyo Wibowo as Independent Director. After the RUPS, the director seat remains filled by Henry Ricardo Liasnawi, while Junita Marlina Purba, Sopar Matoga Marnaek Marpaung, and Budiyanto Suteno joined the board of directors.
“The newly appointed members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners will effectively serve after obtaining approval for the fit and proper test from the Financial Services Authority,” said Sinar Mas Multifinance Director Henry Ricardo Liasnawi in the information disclosure quoted on Friday (21/8/2026).
PT Sinar Mas Multifinance is a company engaged in financing. The company is a subsidiary of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk. (SMMA). Indra Widjaja is recorded as the ultimate shareholder of Sinar Mas Multifinance.
