PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA (stock code: BBCA) has officially announced eight student teams from public and private universities that have advanced to the final round of Genera-Z Berbakti 2026. Genera-Z Berbakti is a call for proposals programme targeted at student groups to serve the community in BCA’s sponsored villages through activities such as Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), community service programmes, or similar initiatives. The eight finalists were selected after a rigorous evaluation of more than 260 proposals from 98 universities across Indonesia. They will now compete by presenting their ideas and best proposals before three panellists to vie for the chance to execute their community service programmes directly in four BCA Bakti villages. “BCA congratulates the eight teams that have advanced to the final round of Genera-Z Berbakti 2026. In general, all the proposals we received contain diverse innovative ideas and demonstrate the strong spirit of the younger generation to serve and create real impacts,” stated Hera in a press release received by Kompas.com on Friday (1/5/2026). Hera also encouraged participants who did not advance to continue developing their ideas. “We hope the finalists can bring out their best abilities to champion the proposals they are advocating before the panellists,” she said. The four BCA Bakti villages are: 1. Desa Wisata Kreatif Terong, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung; 2. Desa Wisata Situs Gunung Padang, Jawa Barat; 3. Desa Wisata Patakbanteng, Jawa Tengah; 4. Desa Wisata Kakaskasen Dua, Sulawesi Utara.
