Eight people killed in Bangkok after train collides with bus
Jakarta (ANTARA) - At least eight people were killed and several others injured in Bangkok, Thailand after a freight train collided with a public bus near Makkasan station, The Nation reported on Saturday.
According to initial reports, the freight train hit the bus, while several cars and motorcycles were also damaged in the collision.
The bus caught fire after the impact, with occasional explosions heard, the newspaper reported.
Authorities are still investigating the chronology of the tragedy and confirming the exact number of casualties.
