Eight Indonesians wanted in NZ

NEW ZEALAND: A nationwide manhunt was under way in New Zealand
Thursday for six Indonesians who jumped ship in Wellington.

Their boat, San Liberatore, sailed on Wednesday without the
men who had short-term New Zealand work permits to serve as crew
on the fishing vessel, the Dominion Post reported.

A policeman told the paper the men had given their passports
to customs officers before being allowed ashore and that they
would be deported when found. -- DPA
