Eight Indonesian Startups Make Forbes Asia 100 to Watch 2026
Eight Indonesian companies have been included in Forbes Asia’s ‘100 to Watch 2026’ list, which highlights small companies and startups with growth potential in the Asia-Pacific region. The eight companies operate in enterprise technology, finance, e-commerce, healthcare, consumer technology, and energy and green technology.
Forbes Asia placed artificial intelligence (AI)-based innovation as the main theme of the 2026 list. Nearly a quarter of the companies on the list operate in AI-based enterprise technology, while the robotics and green technology sectors also recorded strong growth.
Indonesia shares fifth place with Australia as the country with the fifth-highest number of companies on the list, with eight companies each. Indonesia ranks below India with 19 companies, Singapore with 15, China with 10, and Japan and South Korea with nine each.
The eight Indonesian companies demonstrate the increasingly diverse spectrum of the national startup scene. Cekat.AI operates in enterprise technology, Durianpay in finance, Grouu and Loluna in e-commerce and retail, Satu Dental and Sirka in healthcare, Soul Parking in consumer technology, and Waste4Change in energy and green technology.
Regionally, companies included in the ‘100 to Watch 2026’ have raised total funding of US$2.4 billion, or Rp 42.5 trillion (assuming a US dollar to rupiah exchange rate of around 17,720). Nearly US$1 billion, or Rp 17.7 trillion, of that funding was raised throughout 2026.
Forbes Asia compiled the list through nominations from accelerators, incubators, universities, venture capital firms, and other parties, taking into account factors including industry impact, market fit, business model, innovation, revenue growth, and ability to attract funding.
Cekat.AI represents Indonesia in the enterprise technology category. The company, founded in 2023 and led by Matthew Sebastian, reflects the entry of Indonesian startups into the AI-based enterprise technology trend that is the dominant theme of Forbes Asia 2026. Cekat.AI’s presence is significant because enterprise technology is one of the largest categories on the Forbes Asia list. The trend shows that AI development is not only targeting consumers but also the operational and productivity needs of companies.
Durianpay is included in the finance category and is one of the eight Indonesian companies highlighted by Forbes Asia. The startup, founded in 2020, is led by Natasha Ardiani. Durianpay’s inclusion shows that the financial technology sector remains an important part of Indonesia’s startup ecosystem. The position also demonstrates that digital innovation in Indonesia is developing not only through consumer services but also through solutions for transaction and business needs.
Grouu is included in the e-commerce and retail category. The company, founded in 2020, is led by Jessica Marthin. Grouu shows that the digital commerce sector still has room for growth amid changing consumer behaviour. The company’s inclusion in the Forbes Asia list also broadens the picture of Indonesia’s startup sector developing beyond financial technology and AI.
Loluna is another Indonesian company in the e-commerce and retail category. The startup, founded in 2022, is led by Bianca Belnadia Lie. Loluna’s presence shows that relatively young startups still have opportunities to gain regional attention. Forbes Asia included the company at a time when the e-commerce and retail sector is facing changes in consumption patterns and increasing use of digital technology.
Satu Dental is included in the biotechnology and healthcare category with a dental healthcare service model targeting community needs. The company, founded in 2021, is led by Satria Situmorang. According to Forbes Asia, Satu Dental had 56 clinics in the Greater Jakarta area and two other cities in Java as of June 2026. The company also works with a network of 500 dentists and general practitioners and has raised more than US$20 million in funding through several rounds. Satu Dental is targeting more than 60 clinic locations by the end of 2026. The company also plans to expand services to several other cities in Indonesia.
Sirka is also included in the biotechnology and healthcare category on the Forbes Asia list. The startup, founded in 2021, is led by Rifanditto Adhikara. Sirka initially developed a wellness application providing dietary guidance and professional consultations. The company later expanded services through partnerships with health clinics before opening its own clinic in 2024. Sirka’s clinic focuses on weight management, digestive health, diabetes, and chronic disease management. As of 2026, the company has two clinics in the Greater Jakarta area and plans to open three additional clinics within a year. Sirka previously raised US$2.6 million in seed funding in 2022 from ACV Capital and Wavemaker Partners.
Soul Parking is included in the consumer technology category on the Forbes Asia list. The company, founded in 2020, is led by Kenneth Darmansjah. Soul Parking’s presence shows that Indonesia’s digital transformation is also touching everyday needs, including parking services. This position makes the consumer technology sector one of the innovation spaces gaining attention in Indonesia’s startup ecosystem.
