Eight-car pile-up on Jagorawi Toll Road towards Bogor

A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the Jagorawi Toll Road at Km 19+400 involving eight vehicles. “A multi-vehicle collision involving eight vehicles has occurred,” said Jagorawi Toll Road PJR Unit Chief Kompol Akhmad Jajuli on Saturday (30 May 2026). The incident took place around 8:00 am WIB as the vehicles travelled from Jakarta towards Bogor. “Upon reaching the scene, the first vehicle was in lane 4 and slowed down,” he said. The second vehicle failed to maintain a safe distance, colliding with the first, followed by a chain reaction among vehicles two to eight. “The final position of all eight vehicles was in lane 4 on the southern route (Bogor direction),” he added. The accident was resolved amicably by those involved with no fatalities. “The matter was settled privately and the drivers continued their journey,” he concluded.
