Eid Return Flow: Transjakarta Extends Operating Hours Until 29 March

Transjakarta is extending its operating hours and preparing 24-hour services on several major corridors to anticipate the surge of passengers returning to Jakarta during the Eid al-Fitr return flow in 2026. The Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that the extension of operating hours applies from 25 to 29 March 2026. Specifically for routes passing through stations and terminals, services are extended until 11:59 PM WIB. “On 25-29 March 2026, Transjakarta is extending the operating hours of routes passing through stations and terminals until 11:59 PM WIB,” said Ayu Wardhani on Thursday (26/3/2026). Meanwhile, the main services on corridors 1 to 14 will continue to operate 24 hours every day. Transjakarta also ensures services remain available at several major terminals, including: Specifically at Pulo Gebang Terminal, 11 additional bus units are prepared from 25 to 27 March 2026 in response to the peak return flow. “The addition of 11 fleet units at Pulo Gebang Terminal is carried out in response to the peak return flow,” said Ayu. She explained that the operational pattern during this period is adjusted according to field needs or based on passenger demand. Transjakarta also urges the public to monitor the latest information and plan their journeys through official channels, including social media and the TJ-Transjakarta application.
