Eid Holiday, Whoosh Offers Ticket Discounts Up to Rp 100,000

PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC) is offering promotional tickets for Whoosh with discounts of up to Rp 100,000. This promotion is in connection with the 2026 Lebaran transportation period. General Manager of Corporate Secretary at KCIC, Eva Chairunisa, stated that the programme is aimed at providing more economical travel options for the public amid the increased mobility during the Idulfitri moment, especially for the Jakarta-Bandung route and vice versa. “KCIC is presenting a ticket discount programme through sales partners to provide more economical and flexible travel choices for passengers,” she said in a written statement on Friday (20/3/2026). In detail, the public can obtain cashback of up to Rp 50,000 through the Livin’ by Mandiri app (Livin’ Sukha feature), valid until 31 March 2026. Additionally, discounts of up to Rp 100,000 are available through the Trip.com platform, with the promotion period until 31 May 2026. KCIC recorded that public interest in the high-speed rail service continues to increase during this year’s Lebaran transportation period. As of 20 March 2026 at 08:00 WIB, the total tickets sold reached around 145,000 for travel during the 13-30 March 2026 period. Meanwhile, for departures today, the number of tickets sold has reached around 10,000 and is estimated to continue increasing to nearly 18,000 passengers until the last departure schedule. Eva also urged the public to book tickets promptly, especially through online channels such as the Whoosh app and the website ticket.kcic.co.id. As well as various partner apps like Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com.
