Traffic flow during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus on the Tangerang-Merak toll road recorded 850,617 vehicles from 10 days before Eid (H-10). This figure represents a 1.3 per cent increase compared to the same period during the 2025 Eid holiday.

The total traffic volume crossing the Tangerang-Merak toll road on an cumulative basis reached 850,617 vehicles, with an average daily traffic of 166,631 vehicles.

“This is up 1.3 per cent compared to the same period during the 2025 Eid holiday, or up 14.0 per cent compared to normal average daily traffic (LHR),” said the communications department of Astra Infra Tol Tangerang-Merak, Uswatun Hasanah, on Sunday (15 March 2026).

The toll operator detailed that the total number of vehicles entering the Tangerang-Merak toll road via the Cikupa toll gate from 10-14 March 2026 reached 162,169 vehicles.

“With an average daily traffic of 41,190 vehicles, this is down 20.57 per cent compared to the same period in 2025, or 8.67 per cent lower than normal average daily traffic (LHR),” she said.

Meanwhile, traffic flow towards Merak port and surrounding areas from 10-14 March 2026 totalled 50,680 vehicles.

“With an average daily traffic of 8,133 vehicles, this is down 24.16 per cent compared to the same period in 2025, or up 5.04 per cent compared to normal LHR,” she said.

The toll operator, according to Uswatun, implemented a 30 per cent discount applicable on 15-16 March. This discount applies when vehicles enter through the Cikupa toll gate and exit through the Merak toll gate.

“The toll rate discount applies to the longest distance and continuous journeys from Cikupa toll gate to Merak toll gate, and vice versa,” she said.
