Eid Holiday Allowance 2026 Not Received? How to Report Online and Offline
Jakarta – As the Islamic Eid al-Fitr holiday approaches, the Holiday Allowance (Tunjangan Hari Raya/THR) becomes one of the most anticipated entitlements for Indonesian workers. These funds are typically used to meet various Eid-related needs, including purchasing groceries, new clothing, and covering travel costs for returning home.
Timely payment of the holiday allowance is therefore crucial for employees across Indonesia. However, in practice, not all workers receive their THR according to the scheduled payment date. In some cases, companies delay payment or issue the allowance in instalments. Workers facing these situations need not worry, as the government has established an official complaint mechanism through Posko THR, managed by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
Through these posts, workers can lodge complaints regarding THR payments whilst also obtaining information about their entitlements. Posko THR also provides consultation services for workers wishing to understand the regulations governing holiday allowances, including how the amount is calculated.
According to information on the Ministry of Manpower’s official website, Posko THR 2026 offers two main types of services: consultation and complaint filing.
Consultation Service
The consultation service has been available since 2 March 2026. This facility is intended for workers seeking clarification on various matters relating to THR and basic holiday allowance (BHR). Through the consultation service, workers can inquire about issues such as eligibility for the holiday allowance, methods for calculating the amount, and problems arising in specific circumstances. For example, workers who have experienced termination of employment (PHK) or have special employment status that raises questions about their THR rights.
Complaint Service
In addition to consultation, the Ministry of Manpower provides a complaint service for workers experiencing difficulties in receiving their THR payments. This complaint service is activated seven days before Eid, in line with the government-set deadline for THR payments. The complaint post operates daily, including weekends and public holidays, from 08:00 to 15:00 WIB.
Through this service, workers can report various issues related to THR payment, such as unpaid allowances or payments made in instalments.
