Eid Holiday 21-22 March 2026: LRT Ride for Just Rp 1 Ticket

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) will implement a Rp 1 fare for all routes and service lines of the LRT Jabodebek during Eid 2026. The Rp 1 fare will apply on Saturday (21/3/2026) and Sunday (22/3/2026). KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that this policy is part of KAI’s commitment to providing increasingly accessible public transport services during the Eid holiday period. “The Eid momentum is when people move to reconnect, travel, and enjoy time with family. Through the Rp 1 fare policy for LRT Jabodebek on the first and second days of Eid 2026, KAI wants to bring a pleasant surprise while encouraging more people to utilise safe, comfortable, and integrated public transport,” said Bobby in an official statement on Thursday (19/3/2026). According to Bobby, this special fare policy is expected to increase public interest in using LRT Jabodebek as a mobility option in urban areas, especially during the Eid holiday period which is synonymous with high travel activity. Preparations include optimising security, health, and station and train service personnel, managing passenger density in platform areas, gates, and potential crowded points, with special attention to priority customers. In addition, KAI has prepared comprehensive ticketing system adjustments, from fare settings, gate readiness, to sales channels. To anticipate potential increases in user volume, KAI has also prepared additional operational measures, including setting up Eid holiday posts and implementing weekend operation patterns, so that services remain optimal and customers can travel safely and comfortably. “KAI continues to strive to provide public transport services that are relevant to community needs. This special fare policy is expected to add value for LRT Jabodebek customers during Eid while strengthening the role of public transport as an urban mobility solution,” said Bobby.
