Eid Holiday 2026: Take Advantage of These Toll Tariff Discounts
Good news for those planning to return home during the Eid holiday period in 2026. ASTRA Infra has officially announced a 30 per cent toll tariff discount for two major toll routes: the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road. This measure is intended to reduce traffic congestion whilst easing the financial burden of holiday travel costs for passengers.
Group Chief Executive Officer of ASTRA Infra, Firman Yosafat Siregar, urged all road users to plan their journeys carefully. “Travellers are advised to avoid the periods predicted to be peak holiday traffic periods for the 2026 Eid exodus and return,” Firman stated.
The 30 per cent discount applies to road users making continuous journeys from Cikupa Toll Gate (GT) to Merak GT for the outbound exodus, and from Merak GT to Cikupa GT for the return journey.
For the Cipali toll section, the 30 per cent discount applies to road users making continuous journeys from Cikampek Utama GT to Kalikangkung GT and vice versa.
ASTRA Infra predicts a significant surge in vehicle traffic this year. “It is estimated that 6.8 million vehicles will pass through ASTRA Infra toll sections during the 2026 Eid exodus and return period. This figure represents an increase of approximately 2.1 per cent compared to vehicle traffic volume during the same period in 2025,” Firman noted.
By offering discounts outside peak traffic periods, the hope is that the toll road load will be distributed more evenly, enabling the 2026 Eid holiday exodus and return journeys to proceed safely, comfortably, and smoothly.
