JAKARTA – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has recorded that public mobility during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 exodus period has reached its peak and is now gradually easing.

From H-10 to H-2, or 11–19 March 2026, a total of 621,366 vehicles passed through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate heading east. This figure represents a 145.52 per cent increase compared to normal traffic of 253,080 vehicles.

“The peak of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr exodus has been passed smoothly. Various integrated traffic engineering measures have been implemented, starting from contraflow on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road section, the application of a national one-way system from KM 70 at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to KM 414 at Kalikangkung Toll Gate, as well as a local one-way in the Semarang to Salatiga area. These steps have been effective in maintaining smooth vehicle flow towards Trans Java during the peak exodus period,” said Ria in an official statement.

Ria added that JTT is now preparing for the return flow by preparing several traffic engineering scenarios and on-site operational support.

“On the other hand, a 23 per cent toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang section is still in effect from 12 March to 31 March 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic while providing direct benefits to road users,” she said.
