To support travel comfort, Xpeng Indonesia has introduced Eid al-Fitr standby service. The programme is provided through the service centre at the Xpeng Service & Experience Center, Pondok Indah. CEO Erajaya Active Lifestyle Djohan Sutanto said this service is part of the company’s commitment to ensuring customers’ vehicles remain in prime condition during the mudik period. ‘We want users to travel with confidence, safety and comfort with their families,’ he said. ‘We focus on battery health, the large main battery, and also the 12-volt auxiliary battery,’ he explained. He noted that checks also cover the charging system because electric vehicles are often used for long trips and frequently charged at public charging stations for electric vehicles (SPKLU). ‘We ensure the charging system is sound, the ports are not faulty. We also inspect journey-support components such as the braking system, tyre condition and pressures, and the undercarriage,’ he added. ‘In addition, we focus on electrics, because we know users will undertake fairly long journeys, so we ensure all electrical systems are in good condition,’ he said. Ricoh added that checks also include comfort aspects such as air conditioning, cabin filters, and software updates if available. ‘If there are software updates, we will perform them immediately because every Xpeng vehicle can update via OTA when connected to the internet.’ In addition to vehicle checks, Xpeng Indonesia also offers additional services during the Eid period, including free air conditioning charging up to one hour or 17 kWh, priority service for out-of-town travellers, and a free diagnostic scan if a warning indicator appears on the vehicle. Xpeng Indonesia also ensures after-sales service remains available during the Eid holidays at the Pondok Indah service centre. The presence of these services is expected to provide peace of mind for users travelling during mudik or with high mobility during the long holiday.
