Eid al-Fitr homecoming: West Java Police prepare traffic management on the Trans-Java Toll Road and tourist routes
West Java Police’s Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas Polda Jabar) has disclosed that it has prepared a traffic-management scheme along the Trans-Java Toll Road and tourist routes. They conducted a Tactical Floor Game (TFG) at the Ditlantas Building with Kakorlantas Polri’s Chief Traffic Officer, Irjen Agus Suryonugroho.
Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) of West Java Police, Kombes Raydian Kokrosono, said that his unit, together with Kakorlantas Polri, had run traffic-management simulations on the Trans-Java Toll Road and on tourist routes. He noted that seven police districts (polres) are traversed by the Trans-Java Toll Road.
“We have formed Rayon 2 which coordinates, collaborates, and works to implement traffic management on the Trans-Java Toll Road,” he said on Thursday (5 March 2026).
He said they have provided traffic management from kilometre 47 to kilometre 70. Traffic management is implemented starting from one-way, contraflow to partial national lanes.
“From partial national lanes to implementation of lanes 1, 2, 3 up to one-way on partial national lanes to checkpoints. That has been directed by Kakorlantas,” he said.
He hopes during Operation Ketupat (the Eid homecoming operation) runs smoothly and as intended. The police have also prepared three traffic-management scenarios on the Priangan Timur arterial and on the route to the peak (Puncak).
“For traffic management on the tourist routes and on the Priangan Timur arterial, we have routinely implemented these every week, every weekend, and we have conducted a Tactical Floor Game at Polda Jabar,” he added.
He said he hopes travellers will perform their mudik safely and smoothly.
