Eid al-Fitr 2026: Transjakarta Operations Extended Until 11:59 PM WIB

Transjakarta operations will be extended until 11:59 PM WIB during the Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday period. This provision applies from 25 to 29 March 2026, specifically for Transjakarta routes passing through intercity train stations such as Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station, as well as transit stations during the holiday period. “We are extending the operational hours until 11:59 PM WIB for the period of 25–29 March 2026,” stated PT Transjakarta’s President Director, Welfizon Yuza, in an official statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026), as quoted from Kompas.com. In addition, Transjakarta is opening Route 10C as a special shuttle for mudikers using sea transport. This route connects Tanjung Priok Port–Tanjung Priok and operates from 13 to 29 March 2026. “We want mudikers to reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time,” explained Welfizon. Meanwhile, for those not mudiking, Transjakarta is preparing special tourist routes during the Eid holiday to facilitate public mobility to popular destinations in the Capital. “This step is a follow-up to the 2026 Eid Operational Plan Letter from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency to support the smooth flow of mudik, return flows, and access to tourist sites,” said Welfizon. For regular services to tourist spots, buses will operate from 05:00 to 23:59 WIB. Meanwhile, tourist buses will serve from 10:00 to 17:00 WIB. Welfizon added that 24-hour bus operations will remain available on main corridors (Corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14) to ensure seamless connectivity. On the first day of Eid al-Fitr (21 or 22 March 2026), bus operations are scheduled to start later. Buses will begin operating at 09:00 WIB so that drivers and field staff can perform Eid prayers. Not only that, the public can also enjoy Transjakarta services at a fare of Rp 1 on Eid day itself.
