Eid al-Fitr 2026: LRT Jabodebek Fare Only Rp 1

PT Kereta Api Indonesia is implementing a Rp 1 fare for all routes and service lines of the LRT Jabodebek on the first and second days of Eid al-Fitr 2026. KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that this policy is part of KAI’s commitment to providing increasingly accessible public transportation services during the Eid holiday period. “Eid is a moment when people travel to reconnect with family, go on holidays, and spend time with loved ones. Through the Rp 1 fare policy for LRT Jabodebek on the first and second days of Eid 2026, KAI wants to bring a pleasant surprise while encouraging more people to utilise safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation,” said Bobby in an official statement on Thursday (19/3/2026). To ensure the smooth implementation of this programme, KAI through LRT Jabodebek has prepared several anticipatory measures. These preparations include optimising security, health, and service personnel at stations and trains. In addition, Bobby continued, KAI has also prepared comprehensive ticketing system adjustments, from fare settings, gate readiness, to sales channels. To anticipate potential increases in passenger volume, KAI is also preparing additional operational measures, including the establishment of Eid posts and the implementation of weekend operation patterns. “KAI continues to strive to provide public transportation services that are relevant to the needs of the community. This special fare policy is expected to add value for LRT Jabodebek customers during Eid while strengthening the role of public transportation as a solution for urban mobility,” said Bobby.
