The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has recorded three favourite international flight routes during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday. “The three routes with the highest ticket sales are the Cengkareng (CGK)-Singapore (SIN) route, Denpasar (DPS)-Singapore, and Cengkareng (CGK)-Kuala Lumpur (KUL) route,” said Director of Air Transport at the Ministry of Transportation, Agustinus Budi H, during an online press conference by the Ministry of Tourism-Ministry of Transportation on Tuesday (17/3/2026). Agustinus projected that the number of international air passengers will reach 929,692 during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday period, from 13-29 March 2026. This figure is up 2% from the total international air passengers during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period. 1. Jakarta (CGK)-Singapore (SIN) sold 71,846 seats or 66.7% of the capacity of 107,686 seats. 2. Denpasar (DPS)-Singapore (SIN) sold 50,040 seats or 76.8% of the capacity of 65,120 seats. 3. Jakarta (CGK)-Kuala Lumpur (KUL) sold 49,467 seats or 57.9% of the capacity of 85,463 seats. 4. Denpasar (DPS)-Kuala Lumpur sold 28,390 seats. 5. Kualanamu (KNO)-Kuala Lumpur (KUL) sold 23,730 seats. 6. Jakarta (CGK)-Jeddah (JED) sold 23,122 seats. 7. Denpasar (DPS)-Perth (PER) sold 22,797 seats. 8. Denpasar (DPS)-Melbourne (MEL) sold 21,469 seats. 9. Jakarta (CGK)-Hong Kong (HKG) sold 16,597 seats. 10. Denpasar (DPS)-Sydney (SYD) sold 15,594 seats.
