Greetings and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H congratulations were delivered as part of the Eid al-Fitr Silaturahmi event by Muhammadiyah’s Central Leadership (PP) by Secretary General Prof Dr Abdul Mu’ti, M.Ed., along with several figures, including Dr Anggito Abimanyu, M.Sc., GRCP., Fahri Hamzah, and Irman Gusman. The event took place on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at the KH Ahmad Azhar Basyir Auditorium, Cendekia Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ). Mu’ti expressed apologies for any shortcomings in the event’s organisation, including aspects of facilities and comfort. He also highlighted the high enthusiasm of the congregation, which made the atmosphere crowded. “We apologise if there are any shortcomings in this event’s organisation,” he stated. Nevertheless, he assessed that the warm atmosphere and togetherness that developed became the strength in fostering silaturahmi. He also represented Muhammadiyah members in conveying apologies for any deficiencies in interactions so far. He explained that Muhammadiyah’s charitable enterprises continue to experience growth, both in terms of the number of students and the development of study programmes. In addition, Mu’ti affirmed the commitment to remain supportive of the Association’s members through various education programmes. “We continue to strive to improve quality and services,” he said. However, he acknowledged that there are still various matters that need improvement amid increasingly tight competition. Mu’ti hoped that this event would not only serve as a silaturahmi gathering but also bring enlightenment and strengthening for all participants. “We hope this meeting becomes a momentum for gaining inspiration and strengthening,” he said. Through this event, he stated, it is hoped that all parties can resume fulfilling mandates with a better spirit. LPS Commissioner Chairman Dr Anggito Abimanyu, M.Sc., GRCP., also extended Eid al-Fitr congratulations to all attendees. “Minal aidzin walfaidzin, please forgive my physical and spiritual shortcomings,” he said. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister for Housing and Settlement Areas Fahri Hamzah appreciated the togetherness that has been established and emphasised the importance of building a culture of mutual listening. “The more often we listen to each other well, the better the results will be,” he said. He also affirmed that progress can only be achieved in a positive atmosphere full of togetherness, and hoped that communication and synergy would continue to be strengthened in the future. Regional Representative Council member Irman Gusman expressed appreciation for the event’s implementation and the importance of maintaining and expanding networks of togetherness. “This is a great strength that we must maintain and develop together,” he said. He also emphasised Muhammadiyah’s strategic role as a moral force with high trust levels in society. “Muhammadiyah must step forward,” he stated. The series of greetings and Eid al-Fitr congratulations served as a reinforcement of the spirit of togetherness, reflection, and commitment to continuously enhance Muhammadiyah’s role and contributions in the life of the ummah and the nation. Through this momentum, it is hoped that all elements can continue to strengthen synergy and fulfil mandates better in the future.
