Eid al-Adha: LRT Jabodebek Distributes Sacrificial Meat to Local Residents and Charities Near Operational Areas
On Eid al-Adha, Wednesday, 27 May, LRT Jabodebek conducted the sacrifice of six cows and five goats at its office premises.
The sacrificial meat was distributed to local residents through local RT/RW authorities to ensure orderly and targeted delivery. Additionally, the meat was allocated to two foundations: Afsum Salam Foundation and Yatim Narogong Foundation in Jatimulya.
Public Relations Manager Radhitya Mardika stated that the meat distribution, beyond fulfilling religious obligations, also serves to foster community ties and share with residents around LRT Jabodebek’s operational areas.
“LRT Jabodebek is not only a modern public transport provider but also grows alongside its surrounding environment. Eid al-Adha is an opportune time to share and build rapport with communities living alongside our operations,” he said.
Through this initiative, LRT Jabodebek hopes to strengthen relationships between the company and local residents, mutually safeguarding and supporting public transport services for the community.
“Proximity to local communities is vital in supporting safe, secure, comfortable, and sustainable public transport operations,” he concluded.
