Eid al-Adha 2026: Pertamina Patra Niaga Distributes 2,031 Sacrificial Animals Across Indonesia
JAKARTA – Pertamina Patra Niaga distributed 2,031 sacrificial animals comprising 1,001 cows and 1,030 goats to communities across Indonesia. The initiative, conducted in the spirit of togetherness and compassion during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth M. V. Dumatubun, stated that Eid al-Adha is a crucial moment to cultivate values of sincerity, togetherness, and social compassion. ‘Eid al-Adha teaches the importance of sharing and strengthening care for others. Through the distribution of sacrificial animals, Pertamina Patra Niaga aims to continue providing tangible benefits to communities and strengthening harmonious relationships with areas surrounding our operational sites,’ he said in a statement dated Saturday, 30 May 2026.
The distribution took place across Pertamina Patra Niaga’s operational areas, including its headquarters, regional offices, fuel terminals, LPG terminals, integrated terminals, aviation fuel terminals, and refineries. The activity is part of the company’s commitment to delivering social benefits and fostering harmonious relations with local communities.
The kurban activities involved Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Islamic Da’wah Body (BDI) and were conducted in collaboration with mosques, foundations, and social institutions in the operational areas. Meat distribution was carried out in phases from 27 to 29 May 2026 for needy communities across various regions.
Roberth added that Pertamina Patra Niaga is grateful to distribute sacrificial animals across all operational regions in Indonesia, including challenging-to-access areas and remote regions, ensuring wider community benefits.
Alongside ensuring optimal energy distribution during Eid al-Adha, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to implement sustainable social programs as part of its corporate social and environmental responsibility. Through this Eid al-Adha initiative, the company hopes the spirit of togetherness, solidarity, and social compassion will continue to grow and benefit communities nationwide.
