JAKARTA – PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) participated in the 2026 State-Owned Enterprises Joint Homecoming programme. The company transported 1,653 homecomers from Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Aceh, and West Sumatra to various destinations in Aceh, Banten, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Central Java, East Java, Lampung, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, and East Nusa Tenggara. The departure of the homecoming participants was carried out in stages, starting with 20 buses and one sea vessel. “Through the Joint Homecoming Programme, SIG can express appreciation to fellow workers through a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable homecoming experience. To ensure safety and comfort during the journey, the drivers underwent health tests to confirm their physical fitness, and the homecoming fleet was inspected to meet safety and roadworthiness standards. In addition, SIG provided supporting facilities for the homecomers, such as travel insurance, T-shirts, caps, medicines, goodie bags, as well as food and drinks. It is recorded that the SIG Group distributed various aid to communities around the company in Aceh Province, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and South Sulawesi. The aid included 37,933 food packages, assistance to 1,463 orphans and the poor, assistance to 100 people with disabilities, aid to 60 TPQ teachers, Eid al-Fitr gifts to 1,258 religious figures, community members, and retired employees, as well as operational support for a total of 57 orphanages, Islamic boarding schools, and mosques/prayer rooms in carrying out Ramadan activities. During the 1447 H Ramadan Safari, SIG (holding) distributed aid in Jakarta and Gresik in the form of 405 food packages, assistance to 230 orphans and the poor, assistance to 100 people with disabilities, holiday allowances for 60 TPQ teachers, and operational support for 11 mosques/prayer rooms. SIG subsidiary, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk in South Sumatra, also distributed aid in the form of 2,400 food packages, assistance to 2 orphanages, farewell gifts to 410 retired employees, and operational aid to 13 mosques/prayer rooms. In West Sumatra, PT Semen Padang distributed 2,000 affordable food packages, assistance to 80 orphans, 1,000 free iftar packages, 50 Ramadan gifts for religious figures and the community, and operational aid for 10 mosques/prayer rooms. Meanwhile, PT Semen Gresik in Rembang Regency, Central Java, provided aid in the form of 2,000 food packages, assistance to 100 orphans and the poor, operational support for 9 mosques/prayer rooms, and gifts to 500 religious figures and community members. PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk’s Tuban Factory, Cilacap Factory, Narogong Factory, Lhoknga Factory, Lampung Packing Plant, Jeladri Mine in Pasuruan, and Maloko Mine in Bogor provided aid in the form of 24,372 food packages, as well as 146 gifts consisting of syrup and sarong cloth for the community.
