Eid 2026: AHY Urges Community to Unite in Harmony to Oversee Development

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), performed Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah prayers in Cikeas, Bogor Regency, West Java. The General Chairman of the Democrat Party prayed alongside relatives and family.

“Happy Eid al-Fitr 1447 H to my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters. We hope that after observing the fast during Ramadan, we return to purity and possess new hopes and energy to move forward better, becoming better individuals and a better nation,” said AHY after performing prayers in Cikeas on Saturday (21/3/2026).

On that occasion, AHY also reminded the importance of unity. He hoped that Indonesia would always remain in a peaceful atmosphere.

“Of course, we also hope that Indonesia always remains in a peaceful atmosphere, where its people live in harmony and unity, even though we are different and diverse, but we are one,” he explained.

According to him, development can be carried out well in the spirit of unity. So that the community can be together in the same large boat.

“That is the best we can do, because development can only be overseen if we live in harmony and unity in the same large boat,” he stated.

After performing Eid al-Fitr prayers, AHY continued activities with a family gathering. A warm atmosphere was evident among the relatives and family present.
